Saigon 1 Garment Factory operates a strict quality control system from raw material selection to finished product packaging, committing to delivering garment and textile products that meet optimal export standards for your brand. In the fiercely competitive fashion industry, a misaligned stitch or an unevenly shrunk fabric batch is enough to erode the trust of partners and consumers. That is why we place Quality Control (QC) at the heart of every production stage in our facility.

Rigorous Quality Standards That Build the Reputation of Saigon 1 Garment Factory

The quality of textile products at Saigon 1 Garment Factory is not merely a technical measurement but the core element shaping our enterprise's value. We understand that every shipment sent out carries the reputation of our partners and the direct trust of consumers.

With quality as our lifeline philosophy, our entire leadership and workforce are deeply committed to a serious production spirit, completely eliminating any compromise on defective products. Every production stage, from receiving raw yarn and fabric to ironing and packaging, is closely monitored according to standardized technical specifications. Maintaining this consistency helps our factory build long-term cooperative relationships with many major fashion brands.

To guarantee our standard production capacity, the factory has implemented and achieved prestigious quality management system certifications. International standards such as ISO 9001 for operational processes and the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 for textile material safety are thoroughly applied. This ensures that fashion apparel and sportswear manufactured at our factory easily pass strict technical barriers when exported to major markets.

Detailed 4-Step Closed-Loop Quality Control (QC) Process

The QC process at Saigon 1 Garment Factory is designed as a closed loop to thoroughly prevent technical defects from arising in individual production stages. We break this process down into 4 specific steps to maximize error control before goods reach our partners.

Step 1: Quality Control of Incoming Fabrics and Accessories

As soon as raw materials arrive at the warehouse, the material QC department conducts sampling and inspection according to international standards. Fabric rolls are passed through specialized inspection machines to detect weaving defects, skewed yarns, color bleeding, or surface impurities.

Accompanying accessories such as sewing threads, zippers, buttons, and labels also undergo rigorous mechanical durability tests. Zippers are tested through continuous pulling, and buttons are measured for pull-off strength to ensure they do not break or come off during subsequent consumer use.

Step 2: Direct Technical Supervision on the Production Line

When transitioning to the assembly and sewing stage, technical supervisors (In-line QC) are stationed directly at each production line to detect defects from the very first products. Checking the initial line samples helps completely prevent systemic errors across the entire mass production line.

In-line controllers meticulously measure dimensions, stitch density (typically maintained at 4.5 to 5 stitches/cm depending on the material), and the symmetry of collars, pockets, and plackets. If any deviation from the tech pack is detected, the assembly line is stopped immediately to adjust machinery or technical maneuvers.

Step 3: Finished Product Inspection and Defect Handling

After completing the assembly stage, all products are transferred to the End-of-line QC department. Here, every single shirt or pair of pants undergoes a 100% manual inspection to compare actual dimensions with the standard specifications sheet.

Products with defects such as broken threads, skipped stitches, machine oil stains, or dimensional deviations are segregated. Minor defects are sent to the repair department for fixing and re-inspection, while major, unfixable defects are completely discarded to ensure they do not mix with standard batches.

Step 4: Packaging and Shipping Inspection Before Dispatch

The final step before packing goods into cartons is checking the quality of ironing, folding, and hangtag attachment. The packaging QC team ensures that barcodes and sizes on the labels perfectly match the information on the packaging and external cartons.

Each carton is sealed according to moisture-proof standards to prevent mold during long days of maritime transport. Only with the quality approval signature of the QC Manager is the shipment officially cleared for warehouse release and delivery to the customer.

Modern Machinery Supporting Optimal QC Work

To minimize errors caused by subjective human factors, Saigon 1 Garment Factory has invested in an integrated system of next-generation specialized inspection machinery. The combination of inspector expertise and automated technology enhances the accuracy of quality management.

Automatic Fabric Inspection and Shrinkage Measurement Machines

Automatic fabric inspection equipment quickly detects surface weaving defects and automatically measures the actual length of the fabric roll with high accuracy. In particular, fabric shrinkage testing machines used before cutting help the technical team accurately calculate the shrinkage allowance during pattern making, minimizing product deformation and loss of shape after washing and drying.

Metal Detectors and Thread Pull-Strength Testing Equipment

For export goods, especially children's product lines, safety is an absolute requirement. We use highly sensitive conveyor-belt metal detectors to scan all finished products, guaranteeing that no broken needle tips or metallic foreign bodies remain inside the garments.

Additionally, specialized pull-testing machines are used to verify seam strength and button attachment force. This equipment simulates the daily physical pull force exerted by users, ensuring that attached details do not fall off and cause safety hazards.

An Experienced and Practical QC Inspection Team

Modern technology only truly delivers value when operated by competent and responsible personnel. The QC team at Saigon 1 Garment Factory is rigorously selected, possessing a deep understanding of the characteristics of each type of textile fiber, assembly techniques, and the technical standards of international markets.

We have established an independent operating mechanism for the QC department, completely separate from the production department, to guarantee objectivity in product quality assessment. Every month, inspectors participate in training courses to update new techniques and professional technical reading skills, ensuring they remain highly sensitive to detecting even the smallest defects.
